A bundle of twisted flax strands, consisting of twelve individual strands between c. 40-94 cm in length. An awl made of whalebone was found in the bundle (length 6.4 cm, width 0.5 cm), with a hook at its broadest end, and with barbs (bone remnants) on about half of two sides. Markus Schindlbeck
