Forster Register A.5: ‘4[clubs], above round, from the friendly islands’
The club is made of brown wood. At the end of the handle, the cross-section is round, but becomes rhomboid towards the middle of the club. The club becomes wider towards the upper end and has a shape similar to that of a paddle. Both sides are damaged. This part is separated from the handle by two pairs of bulged rings. The club lacks any ornamentation. Inken Köhler, Ulrike Rehr, Gundolf Krüger
