Humphrey No. 25: ‘Another [piece of thin bark Cloth], the ground yellow, waved and striped with red, from ditto [Sandwich Islands].’ The barkcloth is thin and has a light colour. It has a pattern of bundles of six red stripes.
The background colour of the piece can be seen in the form of light zigzag lines in the middle of these stripes. Inken Köhler
