Nestled in the Christina and Trevor Kennedy Garden, the Forecourt welcomes guests to the National Museum of Australia. This stunning outdoor space among mosaic gardens of native plantings is at the front of the Museum.

The Forecourt is the perfect place for guests to enjoy pre-dinner drinks. It has a dedicated firestone for a smoking ceremony and space for performance.
The Forecourt has different areas for guests, from a deck overlooking the Museum’s Garden of Australian Dreams, to intimate seating in the Kennedy Garden and group seating under the umbrellas in the open area. In the warmer months, why not hold a spectacular cocktail party watching the sunset over Black Mountain?
