DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition — Journey from Sketch to Screen offered a rare behind the scenes glimpse of DreamWorks Animation's collaborative, artistic and visionary approach to animation.

Created by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in partnership with DreamWorks Animation, the exhibition celebrated the studio’s creative legacy from its earliest feature Antz (1998) to blockbuster series such as How to Train Your Dragon (2010).

The exhibition included more than 400 objects from the studio’s archive, including original artworks, storyboards and scale-models, as well as immersive and interactive digital experiences.

Previously on show at the National Museum of Australia from 12 September 2019 to 2 February 2020.
