Win tickets for up to 2 adults and 3 children to the Terracotta Warriors: Immortality and Empire exhibition, on display at the National Museum of Australia from 11 December 2026 to 2 May 2027.
1. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions may be deemed invalid and excluded from the prize draw.
2. The Promoter is the National Museum of Australia, ABN 70 592 297 967, Lawson Crescent, Acton Peninsula, Canberra ACT 2601, phone 1800 026 132, email information@nma.gov.au.
3. To enter, eligible entrants must:
- Be 18 years or older;
- Have completed the National Museum of Australia Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) community survey (“the Survey”); and
- Have provided their contact details, including name and email address (or specified alternative) in their response to the Survey.
4. Entrants may only enter using their own name and contact details.
5. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
6. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be deemed invalid and removed prior to the prize draw.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or, in the opinion of the Promoter, has engaged in conduct in entering the Competition that is fraudulent, unfair, misleading, inappropriate, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or the Promoter. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that a winner and/or a winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
8. The Competition commences at 9:00am (AEST) on 29 September 2026 and closes at 5:00pm (AEDT) on 20 October 2026 or at the close of the Survey whichever is later (“Competition Period”).
9. The prize is a ticket or tickets to the exhibition Terracotta Warriors: Immortality and Empire at the National Museum of Australia for up to 2 adults (aged 16 or over) one of whom must be the prize winner and up to 3 children (aged 5-15 years). Terracotta Warriors: Immortality and Empire will be on display in Canberra from 11 December 2026 to 2 May 2027.
10. The total prize pool is valued at up to AU$98.25, inclusive of GST.
11. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed in whole or part for cash and no substitutes will be offered.
12. Entry to the exhibition may be subject to capacity constraints. During busy periods, entry to the exhibition at a particular time is not guaranteed.
13. The winner is responsible for all expenses not specified in the prize, including but not limited to transport to and from the National Museum of Australia, accommodation, parking, spending money, and food and beverages.
14. This is a competition of chance.
15. All valid entries received will be entered into a draw and the winner will be drawn by the Promoter onsite at the National Museum of Australia, Lawson Crescent, Acton Peninsula, Canberra ACT 2601 on 30 November 2026.
16. The Promoter will notify the winner via email or alternative contact preference as specified in response to the Survey.
17. If the winner is unable to be notified or is unable to accept the prize, the prize will not be reallocated.
18. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition including selection of a winner and award of the prize is final and binding on every person who enters.
19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
20. If this Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, the Promoter reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition without notice.
21. By entering the Competition, you consent to the Promoter collecting, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the National Museum of Australia’s privacy policy (available at https://www.nma.gov.au/privacy), and as permitted or required by law.
