NAIDOC Week is a time for all Australians to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. The Museum celebrated NAIDOC Week, 4 to 11 July 2021, with the theme, ‘Heal Country!’

Daily, 9am – 5pm, free First Australians Explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture.
Last days, 9am – 5pm, free Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion Celebrate art, history and culture.
Daily, 9am – 5pm, free Talking Blak to History See extraordinary works and hear the voices of Australia’s first peoples.
Daily, 9am – 5pm, free Yidaki: Didjeridu and the Sound of Australia Discover the power of the didjeridu and its meanings with the Yolngu people.
