General
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition (“Competition”) constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions are ineligible and will be disregarded.

3. The Competition commences at 9:00am (AEST) on Friday 26 December 2025 and closes at 5:00pm (AEST) on Monday 26 January 2026 (“Competition Period”).
4. Entry is open to all Australian residents of all ages during the Competition Period.
5. Entries for people aged under 18 years must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
6. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
7. Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
8. Entry into the Competition is free, however entrants (or their parent/legal guardian) are responsible for any costs associated with accessing, printing and submitting an entry form and/or acquiring any necessary materials for participation.
How to enter
9. During the Competition Period, eligible entrants must:
a. Complete the official activity sheet and entry form available at the Information Desk and during selected onsite programs and events.
b. Complete the entry form with the entrant’s information: name, age, postcode, state, email and contact phone number. For entrants aged under 18 years, a parent or legal guardian must provide their own name, relationship to entrant, phone number and email address on the entry form.
c. Submit the completed activity sheet and entry form to a Museum Shop staff member.
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries.
Judging and prizes
11. A total of 10 Museum Shop vouchers are available to be won. Each voucher is valued at $50.00, with a total prize pool value of $500.00. The vouchers can be redeemed in person in the Museum Shop or online at shop.nma.gov.au
12. All valid entries received will be provided to a third party electronic random draw operator, Trade Promotions and Lotteries (TPAL) Pty Ltd, who is authorised to draw trade competition lotteries electronically in Australia (in SA subject to and in accordance with the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 2008, Regulations 30(fa) and 31(h). 13. Winners will be notified by Wednesday 4 February 2026 via the contact details provided. Winners’ names (first initial and surname), ages and states will be displayed in the Museum Shop and on the Promoter’s web site and social media pages.
14. Prizes must be claimed from the Museum Shop by Friday 6 March 2026. Vouchers are valid for 12 months. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
15. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Further conditions
16. The Promoter reserves the right to:
- verify the validity of entries and entrants
- disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions
- modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition if it cannot be run as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the Promoter’s control.
17. By entering this Competition, entrants (or their parent/guardian for those under 18) grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish and display their submitted entry for promotional purposes on the Promoter’s website and social media channels.
18. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or any of the prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
19. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of this Competition is final and binding.
20. By entering the Competition, you consent to the Promoter collecting, using and disclosing your personal information for the purposes of administering this Competition. Information will not be disclosed to third parties other than as described in these Terms and Conditions or as permitted or required by law.
