This free classroom resource supports teaching and learning about Indigenous history and culture. It is based on the powerful stories shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Encounters exhibition.

Community stories Connect with people and objects from the 27 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities where the Encounters stories were told.
Timeline Explore the timeline of Indigenous cultures and contact history.
Curriculum links Students from years 4–10 can explore and engage with activities aligned to the Australian Curriculum, listed by year and learning area.
