Hallyu! The Korean Wave invited visitors to discover how South Korea’s creativity has captured imaginations across the globe, from K-pop and K-drama to fashion, beauty and technology.
The exhibition was developed by the renowned Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum in London and featured more than 200 objects showcasing tradition, technology and trends.
Highlights included costumes and studio props from K-pop megastars aespa and Gangnam Style’s PSY, the Oscar-winning film Parasite and the hit streaming show Squid Game.
The exhibition was accompanied by a season of events including an opening party, Korean-inspired festival, K-beauty and K-pop dance workshops, and craft activities.
Hallyu! The Korean Wave was on show at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra from 12 December 2025 to 10 May 2026.
