Our 'Win an Antarctic expedition' competition entries open on 30 June 2026 and close on 11 October 2026
Entry to the competition is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. One entry per person.
Voyages depart from and return to South America, including Punta Arenas, Chile and/or Ushuaia, Argentina, depending on the itinerary.
Entrants may receive future communications from the National Museum of Australia and Aurora Expeditions in accordance with the consent provided during competition entry and each organisation's privacy policy.

The winner will be notified by email and phone after the prize draw at 3pm on 19 October 2026, with details published on the Museum and Aurora Expeditions websites by 26 October 2026.

With thanks to exhibition partner Aurora Expeditions, this trip for two adults, with a total prize valued at up to AU$58,840 includes:
- a 10 to 14 day Aurora Expeditions Antarctic voyage
- accommodation in an entry-level Balcony Stateroom or equivalent
- AU$3,500pp towards return economy class flights to the departure point in South America
- standard voyage inclusions listed on the confirmed itinerary.
