Chris Taylor from the Chaser team will be quizzed about pushing boundaries and perceptions of bias when he faces three secondary students at the year's final Talkback Classroom forum at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra on Wednesday.
The former ABC journalist and presenter will be asked to assess the state of Australian satire in a Talkback Classroom event that also includes interviews with cartoonists Andrew Weldon and Fiona Katauskas.
The Canberra secondary students set to question the Chaser contributor and the cartoonists are Laura Birchall, St Clare's College; Toby Silcock, Alfred Deakin High School; and Bethany Nevile, St Francis Xavier College.
Student preparation for the interview includes a visit to Senator Amanda Vanstone's office to preview her cartoon collection. The students will also meet Liberal member Alan Cadman, once touted up as potential leadership candidate by the Chaser team's CNNNN.
