Dan Miller worked for 10 years as a digital art and visual effects teacher at AIE. During that time he trained many students to become 3D artists and go on to work for leading studios in Australia and abroad. Dan’s visual effects credits include Me and My Mates vs. The Zombie Apocalypse (2015). His graduates have worked on films and games including:

Dan also guided two groups of students to be awarded Best Animation at Tropfest for The Story of Ned in 2007 and Fault in 2008.

Dan was a director of Red Pixels, a Canberra studio doing web and television advertisements and other related cinematography work and has spent the last 10 years working as the Head of the VFX and Animation Faculty at AIE. This role involves developing the VFX and animation curriculum across all national and international AIE campuses. He continues to focus on industry employment outcomes for students through the AIE curriculum and teaching staff.
