Join us for hands-on holiday activities inspired by DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition. Get creative and explore the fascinating world of animation.

Activities suitable for children 6 years and over, but younger children are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join Melbourne-based puppet designer Philip Millar for a unique, creative workshop where he will share some of his expertise in bringing fantasy creatures to life.

Learn the principles of puppet mechanism design, then create your own tail mechanism and discover how to create movement.

Philip is one of Australia’s leading puppet artists, with 30 years of experience as a performer, designer, maker and director of puppetry for theatre, film and television.

He has worked on projects such as How to Train Your Dragon — Live Spectacular, Walking with Dinosaurs — The Arena Spectacular, King Kong and Radio City Music Hall’s, Lady Liberty and is currently the Artistic Director of Melbourne-based puppet company, Puppetvision.

* 30 minute break included. You are welcome to bring food and drinks.
