20th Birthday Campaign
In 2021 the National Museum of Australia turns 20 and to mark the anniversary we are launching the 20th Birthday Campaign.
As a donor to the 20th Birthday Campaign you can choose between 4 separate appeals, each focused on a special area of need.
Join our Ancient Greeks Ambassadors Program. In December 2021 the Museum is proud to present its summer blockbuster, Ancient Greeks: Athletes, Warriors and Heroes from the British Museum. Work alongside the Museum to share with all Australians the wonder of Greek culture: where civilisation began.
The Encounters Fellowships Appeal focuses on providing Indigenous cultural workers with Fellowship positions at the Museum and enabling research projects and placements at international cultural institutions.
Donations to the Care for a Car Appeal will help the National Museum to conserve its functioning vehicle collection – from Jack Brabham’s 1967 Repco-Brabham BT23A-1 V8 racing car to the 1923 5CV Citroën tourer.
The Defining Symbols of Australia Appeal will support a travelling exhibition, which will tour regional venues, enable curators to visit and engage, and encourage a national conversation about what it means to be Australian.
In recognition of your support we will acknowledge you on our website, in our annual report and The Museum magazine. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
