The people of Warakurna speak Ngaanyatjarra as their first language. This bible is a translation of the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament by the Ngaanyatjarra Bible Project and approximately 40 Ngaanyatjarra speakers from Warburton, Jameson, Blackstone, Wanarn, Warakurna and Tjukurla.
