Blast from the past with Jack Heath
Monday 6 May, 10am–12pm
Age 15 years+

Jack Heath, bestselling author of Hunter, will help you write an engaging piece of flash fiction inspired by an important object from Australia’s history. You’ll have the opportunity to share your work, refine it, and then use Jack’s techniques to outline a novel.

Jack Heath was frustrated by the lack of pace and excitement in most teen fiction so decided to write his own novel. It was published while he was still in high school and he has since become the award-winning author of more than 27 action-packed books for kids and one disturbing crime novel for adults.
