Miss Australia: A Nation's Quest
was a National Museum of Australia exhibition that traced the history of the quest from humble beginnings in 1907, through to its final year in 2000.

Stories from titleholders, volunteers, fundraisers and sponsors featured alongside historic dresses, trophies and crowns.

The Miss Australia Quest was arguably the longest running, most popular and most successful charitable event in Australia's history.

View photographs and footage from the quest to see how this iconic event helped to shape the notion of an ideal Australian woman.

The exhibition was on show at the National Museum in Canberra, the Museum of Brisbane and the Melbourne Museum in 2007 and 2008.
