Win tickets to see How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Competition terms and conditions. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and any entry not complying with these terms and Conditions is invalid.

The Competition commences at 09.00 (AEDT) Monday 4 February 2019 and closes 17.00 (AEDT) on Wednesday 6 February 2019 (‘the Competition Period’). Entries received after the Competition Period will not be accepted.

Entry to the Competition is free (excluding internet, mobile device charges or similar) and is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the National Museum of Australia, Palace Cinemas, and their related agencies and suppliers associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.

To enter the Competition, eligible participants must, during the Competition Period:

a) Respond to a call for entries online via a National Museum of Australia Facebook post with the name of their favourite How to Train Your Dragon character;

b) Be one of the first 15 to respond with a correct character name; and

c) Respond to a direct message on Facebook from the National Museum of Australia, confirming they have been selected as a winner, with their name and the names of three guests. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

a) Tampers with the entry process;

b) Submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Competition terms and conditions; or

c) In the opinion of the Promoter, has engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, unfair, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or the Promoter.

All valid entries received will be judged onsite at the National Museum of Australia, Lawson Crescent, Acton Peninsula ACT 2601, on Wednesday 6 February 2019. Entries will be judged by staff from the Promoter to ensure the entry is valid under the Competition terms and conditions.

Winners will receive as a prize four tickets to see How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, rated PG by the Australian Classification Board, at Palace Cinemas at 5.30pm on Friday 8 February 2019.

Winners will be notified by private message via Facebook on Wednesday 6 February 2019 and are required to reply to the message and provide their name and the names of three guests for the door list to receive the prize by 17.00 (AEDT) on Thursday 7 February 2019. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Winners are responsible for all expenses not specified in the prize including but not limited to transport to and from the venue, parking, spending money, food and beverage.

The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

By submitting personal information to the Promoter, and/or entering the Competition, you agree that the Promoter may collect, use and disclose such personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions, our privacy policies and as permitted or required by law.
