Exclusive film preview: Thursday 12 June, 2–3.30pm

A graphic featuring a young Queen Elizabeth II superimposed on an image of a 1948 Daimler laundaulette. Text reads: When the Queen Came to Town Matinee'.

Join us for an exclusive preview of When The Queen Came To Town, followed by a Q&A with the film's director and producer.

This is a new feature film celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 1954 Royal tour of Australia and is showing exclusively at the National Museum of Australia prior to national release later in the year.

The film also includes footage of the work the dedicated conservation team at the National Museum have recently undertaken to bring the Museum’s Royal Daimler back to its former glory.

Dress up in your royal finery and join us for this special fundraising event. All proceeds will go towards the Royal Daimler Project and help us reverse the rust on this historic car.

Tickets are $25 each and include afternoon tea served in the Hall's Bay Window area.
The film will be shown in the Visions Theatre.

Bookings essential. Book online through Eventbrite
