Landmark women: Pamille Berg

Friday 21 September 2012, 10:00am to 11:30am

Prominent women talk about their lives, work and passions. Our speaker for September is Pamille Berg, Director of Pamille Berg Consulting Pty Ltd, Canberra.

Pamille Berg is one of Australia’s most experienced public art consultants. She has initiated and coordinated major public art programs in Australia and overseas for more than 30 years. Pamille has a broad background with a postgraduate education as an art historian and archaeologist in the United States of America and Italy. Her first major public art role was as the Architect’s Art and Craft Program Coordinator for Australia's $13 million Parliament House Art Program from 1982–88, with commissions involving more than 200 artists and craftspeople, most of whom had never had a public commission before.
