Centre for Historical Research

The National Museum of Australia's Centre for Historical Research fosters new thinking about Australian history and the Australian historical experience.

The Centre helps the Museum to develop the capacity to undertake substantive national research, and for academic interpretation of the subject areas represented by the Museum's collections.

  • People's interaction with the environment
