One of the initiatives undertaken by the Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare group and the Wagga Wagga City Council was to create a demonstration of alternate streetscaping which required less watering and used plants which where more salt tolerant.
In Hardy Avenue, Wagga Wagga, a salinity effected urban area, a number of examples were funded by Council and built by the Landcare group.
