Geraldton, Western Australia
Sun city

Well known as the 'sun city', Geraldton is also a sought after destination for windsurfers. We discovered why! The team flew in to wild and windy Geraldton and found themselves having to rug up to stay warm, which was a shock after the heat of the top end.
Geraldton is located on the Batavia Coast, 424 km north of Perth. The Batavian Coast is named after the Dutch ship that was wrecked in 1629, nearly 150 years before Captain Cook navigated the east coast of Australia.
The first track talks about the unpredictable weather while the second is about the students' thoughts on political and social power.
It was in Geraldton that WireMC had to suddenly fly home and missed the next leg of the tour, Port Augusta, South Australia. He caught up with us again in Swan Hill, Victoria. Meanwhile, Morganics was battling a sore throat.

The west coast of Australia can get very rough at times. Hitting wintery weather was a bit of a shock after the heat of the north.
Morganics (back to camera) leads a group through a beat boxing lesson.
WireMC writes up the lyrics shouted out by the students. It was a challenge to try and use everyone's ideas.
