Five years of revegetation on Tarni Warra
Tarni Warra is a small wetland and sand dune property on the estuary the owners have been revegetating since 1998. It is now covenanted and the only private sanctuary on the island. Adjacent is an Alexandrina Council reserve which is being revegetated by the Murray Mouth Estuary Restoration (MMER) Project. It is also the location for two seed orchards, and a Bush for Life site.
