Water quality:
| Turbidity: | 400NTUs |
| pH: | 7.4 |
| Salinity: | Electrical Conductivity (microsiemens/cm) 247 |
Sample taken in a small pool approx. 5m wide and 100m long.
ACT Waterwatch says:
This is an extremely high turbidity. Note that there is almost no soil coverage on the banks. When rain falls, this soil will be washing into the river. Fencing, planting out with native under story and pasture management are desperately needed here.

Representative site for river catchment condition and trend monitoring.
What's going on:
Some improved riparian management and agricultural land management in the catchment through Landholder initiatives supported by Landcare and the Queensland Murray Darling Committee with State and Federal Government funding.
Monitoring as a representative site for river catchment condition and trend monitoring.
