Collected by: Andrew Christiansen, Dumaresq group
Through involvement in Landcare and the Queensland Murray Darling Committee's Sub Catchment Planning work.
Water quality:
| Turbidity: | 10NTUs |
| pH: | 8.3 |
| Salinity: | Electrical Conductivity (microsiemens/cm) 300 |
ACT Waterwatch says:
Nice. The slightly elevated pH is probably a function of soil chemistry, and acceptable for the region. Note the cumbungi on the opposite bank. In stream plants like these slow flow, take up nutrients and provide habitat for small fish, tadpoles and macroinvertebrates. Unfortunately that is a willow tree in the foreground and milfoil in the waterway itself.
