Bottle not submitted
Reference no: BNS17
About the water
Collected at: Dumaresq River, upstream of Pike Creek, [Mingoola] Queensland
Collected by: Alastair King
Through involvement in Landcare and the Queensland Murray Darling Committee's Sub Catchment Planning work.
|Salinity:||Electrical Conductivity (microseimens/cm) 340|
Carp seen (3+). Small fish present.
ACT Waterwatch says:
Despite carp being seen, the turbidity is good. Carp are often implicated in increased turbidity, however they are often a symptom of poor river health more than the cause of it. Clearly here carp are not having an impact on mobilized solids.
