Is the Museum's Research Library open to the general public?

Yes, by appointment only. Visiting researchers may view material in the Research Library's reading room. Appointment procedures can be found here.

Can members of the public borrow from the Museum's Research Library?

No, however researchers and the general public are very welcome to view the Research Library's resources within the reading room.

I have a book I'd like to donate, is this possible?

If you feel you have a suitable donation for the Museum's Research Library we suggest browsing our online catalogue to see if the item is already held.  If you then wish to proceed with your offer, please contact the Museum's Duty Curator via curator@nma.gov.au.
