This unit of work looks at how Ned Kelly has been portrayed in photographs, by himself and by his victims, and through other evidence such as ballads, contemporary drawings and the writings of historians and other commentators.

The unit is linked to a resource called Australian History Mysteries which includes a case study on Ned Kelly called ‘Ned Kelly: Hero or villain?’
