Overview

In both of these interactives, you are assisted by Ben, a young boy in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. Ben introduces you to the Dunphy family as they camp in a bushland setting. Myles Dunphy was one of the founders of Australia's Conservation movement in the 1930s. He created some unusual objects to help his family enjoy the Australian bush in more comfort. Both of these objects are now held by the National Museum of Australia.

For more information about these objects, see collection highlights - 'Dog boots, about 1930' and 'The Kanangra Express, 1930s'.
