Cook's Pacific Encounters

Cook's Pacific Encounters website, a database of 300 Pacific artefacts held by the Georg-August University of Göttingen in Germany, comprises objects collected during the three Pacific voyages taken by James Cook between 1768 and 1780.

The website is currently offline for redevelopment. It will return in late January 2012.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
