What do you like about working in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander program?

I have worked in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander program and its predecessor, the Gallery of Aboriginal Australia, for almost 30 years. Before that I worked with the Indigenous collections at the Australian Institute of Anatomy before they were transferred to the National Museum. I find researching these collections fascinating and through this and other tasks like exhibitions and repatriation, I have met many, many really wonderful people.

I have also worked with a lot of terrific people at the Museum and the current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander program team is a really good bunch to work with.
