8 May 2015

by Judith Hickson

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander program (ATSIP) staff were delighted to welcome visitors from the New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage. Regional Manager Southern, Steve Meredith, and Senior Team Leader, Rob Evitt, visited the Museum to meet with Museum Repatriation staff.

Steve is based in Griffith, while Rob is based in Buronga. The National Museum and the Office of Environment and Heritage are working closely together on the repatriation of ancestral remains held in the Museum’s care.
