Monbulk is a town established in the 1890s in the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne, in the traditional territory of the Wurundjeri people. Fertile soils in the area supported a rich berry farming industry, and the Monbulk jam factory. Explore the changing fortunes of the Monbulk factory, and see a collection of photographs taken by local farmer Robert Cowey in the early 20th century.
