Survival in the Great Deserts of the Southern Hemisphere

Four hundred years without rain: now, that's a drought. Would you survive? To find out, come and explore some of the world's great deserts: southern Africa's Namib and Kalahari, the Atacama in South America, and Australia's own Red Centre. Following the Tropic of Capricorn, Extremes will take you on a journey to find out how people have coped with these hot, dry, hard lands.
