PAPUNYA PAINTING GALLERY

The Papunya Painting exhibition, on show at the National Museum in Canberra, includes many works on canvas, carvings and other objects. All works are part of the National Museum of Australia collection unless otherwise stated.

Budgerigars in the Sandhills

Works are presented to correspond with the times of various Papunya Tula managers. Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri's Budgerigars in the Sandhills, far left, is on show with other works created during Peter Fannin's time at Papunya, from 1972 to 1975.
