Installing Phar Lap's heart
After a long holiday off display, Phar Lap's heart has been installed in its new home in the Flemington exhibit as part of the Landmarks gallery. Phar Lap was one of Australia's most successful race horses. His large heart weighs 6.35 kilograms and is one of the icons of the National Museum's collection.
