The story of Bilin Bilin is still very much alive in his community.
Axel Best is the grandson of Ysola Best, whose writing on Bilin Bilin inspired the National Museum of Australia to tell his story.
Axel has always been interested in finding out about the story of his community – the family legend has it that his first word was 'archaeologist'!
