Flinders Island

Aunty Leonie Dickson, a Tasmanian Aboriginal Elder, was born on Flinders Island. Leonie talks about objects taken from Tasmania during colonisation and now held in collections overseas. Artefacts made by her ancestors help Leonie to learn more about traditional ways of making fibre baskets and kelp water carriers.
