Tiwi Islands

Natalie Puantulura is from the Tiwi Islands, off the coast of the Northern Territory. Her family were all artists. Natalie was taught to paint by her grandfather, Declan Apuatimi (Senior), who was the late husband of renowned Tiwi artist Jean Baptiste Apuatimi. She talks about her family’s influence on her painting.
