Margaret Torrens, who lives in north-western New South Wales, started the Wake Up Time weaving group, with her sister Gloria and her mother. In this short film, Margaret talks about when she visited her ancestors’ cultural material at the Australian Museum in Sydney. This material provided inspiration for some of her weaving, which ended up being modelled on the catwalk at the Australian Indigenous Fashion Week in 2014.
