Warrnambool region

Gunditjmara and Kirrae Whurrong Aboriginal peoples have been farming eels on the Hopkins River in south-west Victoria for hundreds of years. Today, Gunditjmara rangers at the Framlingham Aboriginal Estate talk about restoring their traditional landscape for the management and harvesting of eels, and what it means to them to work on Country.
