Bagu are made in the rainforest region of far north Queensland and are part of traditional fire-making equipment. They have inspired local artists to make sculptural forms using both contemporary and traditional materials. Theresa Beeron, a Jirrbal/ Girramay Traditional Owner, talks about the meaning behind her bagu.
