Kim was the facilitator of the Wentworth Basin Bytes Project. She moved to Wentworth in 2003, and is the Blueprint Implementation Officer (Environmental Officer) at the Wentworth Shire Council. She grew up on cattle and sheep stations in the Pooncarie/Menindee district.
A group of volunteers from Conservation Volunteers Australia spent a full week at Thegoa Lagoon pulling Nagoora burr out by hand. You can see the definite line where they have finished, and the burr has now gone to seed.
