Help us to farewell A New Horizon at our family festival.
Enjoy music, dance, demonstrations, art and craft to celebrate Australia Day, Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon.
Performances

Craft activities

Lucky Dragon
Help celebrate Chinese New Year and make your own lucky Chinese paper dragon puppet to take home, and play with our special Dragon Chatterbox.
Lucky Symbols
Create your own lucky Chinese symbol on paper with artist Naomi Zouwer using Chinese symbols such as good fortune, prosperity, happiness, harmony and love.
Tours
10.30 am and 1 pm, Temporary Exhibition Gallery
A New Horizon exhibition highlights tour by Museum hosts, Olivia and Yun.
Workshops
11.15–11.55 am, Garden of Australian Dreams
Participate in a Tai Chi workshop under the guidance of the Tai Chi Academy.
