The Learning Services team facilitates innovative and engaging onsite and online experiences. Using best practice pedagogies, technology and Australian history content, we make the Museum’s collection and associated stories accessible and relevant.

We support the development of museum professionals by hosting interns from Australia and overseas. An internship with us provides university students, teachers and industry professionals with practical experience in museum education. Interns develop, implement and review a project during their placement, in consultation with a mentor. They also participate in the day-to-day operations of the Learning Services and Community Outreach team, such as observing and assisting with education and family programs, and liaising with colleagues.
