Talkback Classroom - Australia/Japan forum
The 'Australia Japan forum' will bring together a panel of students selected from schools in Tokyo, Canberra and Melbourne to discuss the theme 'Images of Australia in Japan and Japan in Australia'. The forum will feature an interview to be recorded for broadcast with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Hon Stephen Smith and the Japanese Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Mr Takaaki Kojima.

Teachers are invited to contact the press club to book for this special event to be televised on the recently launched A–PAC Australian Public Affairs Channel.

Where: The National Press Club of Australia, 16 National Circuit, Barton

When: 16 March 2009 from 9:30am to 10:45am (students to be seated by 9:15am)
