Temporary exhibitions

Each of the education kits, units of work or websites below was developed to support a temporary exhibition held at the National Museum. Each has also been designed to be used as stand-alone resource in the classroom.
A Different Time teacher resources
A Different Time: The Expedition Photographs of Herbert Basedow 1903-1928

This exhibition presents a selection of the compelling expedition photographs taken by Herbert Basedow. Linked education activities have been designed as starting points for students to investigate themes in the exhibition from a variety of viewpoints and perspectives. The activities cater for a range of learning styles and curriculum needs.
