In this unit, students investigate stories of immigration and the impact of migrants on Australian society over time. The unit uses the objects and displays from the Museum's previous Horizons gallery (now replaced by the Australian Journeys gallery) and other museum exhibitions as evidence of the impact immigration has had, and continues to have, on Australia. The themes and topics explored include:
